" Foreigners and Brats "
__why your teacher eat together with tax collectors and sinners__
Matthew 9 : 11
When we was child, my mother remind me was not talking with foreign people and didn't make friend with bad guy.
i believed, my Mom did that to protected me from negative side.
However, when i knew Jesus, i found one unique profile. He was kindst human he ever met, and he didn't doubt to made friend with "foreign people" and "bad boy".
that was heard weird with other side, because generally people didn't want to made a friend with bad guy.
we created a wall that separate good guy and bad guy. crossed the barrier is something that is considered taboo.
Jesus wanted we to made a friend , but not became like them. But, He did it. because he wanted to gave friendship and forgiveness for them. He wanted went directly between them, without worried. Why?? Because He always gave the best in all mission for saved human.
Maybe sometimes, we usually didn't totally for serve each other, even when some people that we musted serve was "difficult".
Eventhough, if we followed nonesuch's Jesus, we musted gave the best for all serve.
Did you desire to gave the best for serve all people?

" Listen to Others "
" then brought to Him a paralytic man lying in bed " - Matthew 9:2
passage read today made me so impressed, not only because of the faith of the paralyzed itself, but also because of the faith of those who carry the palanquin. for me, it symbolizes the paralyzed man was lying sinner can move on in sin, so he can not help himself. the people who carry a stretcher represent people who genuinely support or give good advice, and try to bring the sinner to God. Jesus was sympathetic to the people who have the love to others.
My first time to become a member in my community, I feel very superficial knowledge of our Lord.
I remember, I was an easy person to think negatively about others, hard to accept criticism, and always measure people by my standards. when I was reprimanded for things that are not right on my behavior, always tmbul feeling upset, discouraged and feel inadequate.
I realized even if no friends were admonish, I certainly would not grow for the better.
I am very grateful to God for mercy, and of course, I began to open my heart to listen to the advice of those around me. now I feel gradually better, though not yet fully have the character as God intended.
listen to others is very important, because our brains are very limited. it is useful to continue to build ourselves into a better direction, so that we can continue to grow and continue to recover, from the heart prudence.
question:
If I open my heart to receive criticism from others?
